Flexibility is Key!

From expanding options for frequencies to different modes of integrating with a platform, every new addition in this build strives to bring choices to everyday tasks.

New Features

  • Other Recurring Frequency Updates

    • Introducing additional flexibility to your Other Recurring frequencies! You can now customize the frequency to better suit each client’s needs, such as on the 18th of every month, Tuesdays and Thursdays each week, or even once a year!

    • NOTE: Other recurring jobs will not appear on the Master Schedule.

  • Two-Factor Authentication

    • Two-factor authentication (2FA) is now required for all Office Users and above when creating or updating employee accounts. This layer of security ensures that whoever is attempting to gain access is authorized by requiring two forms of credentials.

    • This applies to employee creation, bulk creation via campaigns, and account management while maintaining appropriate user access levels.

    • 2FA is now supported on the mobile app

  • Keap Integration

    • A new option for integrating Keap with MaidCentral has arrived! Connect your Keap account using an Access Token instead of OAuth. This is a more robust connection option that reduces the chance of disconnection.

    • Click here for more information about Keap!

  • Zapier

    • Added a call to the API for Create Note! This will create a note for leads, customers, and employees.

    • This will enable a seamless integration with VoIP platforms, for example, to help log communications in MaidCentral.

Bug Fixes and Improvements

  • Updated and added Opt In verbiage for text messages on the lead form and step 1 of the online quote form

  • Hourly rates from quotes weren't being saved to the rate log when booking jobs with Hourly Billing scopes. The system now properly transfers quoted hourly rates, ensuring accurate billing that matches the original quote pricing.

  • Fixed employee scheduling issue where changing an employee's default team was incorrectly overriding position changes set for future dates. A new link and modal appear to when changing team/position.

  • Event frequency changes (from one-time to recurring or vice versa) were not saved properly. The event management system now correctly processes all frequency modifications, allowing for flexible event scheduling changes.

  • Contact tickets (breakage, complaints, and compliments) were not being properly included in the incentive pay model calculations. The payroll system now correctly processes all contact ticket types when calculating incentive payments, based on when the Contact Ticket is created.

  • Fixed email automation issue where lead notification emails were incorrectly sent even after quotes were generated or bookings were completed. The system now properly prevents duplicate communications, ensuring customers receive only the most relevant email (quote or booking confirmation) instead of multiple notifications.

  • Resolved permissions issue preventing Office users from adding phone numbers for two-factor authentication. Office users can now manage their own 2FA settings while maintaining appropriate security restrictions for other users.

  • Fixed issue where recurring rate modifications were incorrectly repopulating on jobs with Hourly Billing scopes after technician clocks were saved. Rate modifications now remain stable and accurate, preventing unintended billing changes.

  • Downloaded or printed Job Worksheets were not displaying rate mods. Fixed to show rate mods now.

  • Availability where time-off requests spanning multiple months only appeared in the first month. Multi-month PTO requests now correctly display across all affected months in the schedule exceptions view.

  • Fixed mobile app issue where employees clocking in late were not being properly flagged with the late indicator. The mobile app now correctly identifies and marks late arrivals, matching the behavior of the web application.
