This new Zapier integration will work off "Triggers" that happen in MaidCentral and "Actions" that are set up within Zapier, similarly to how the current integration with Keap works.
Setup
This Integration is in Open beta. If you experience troubles or need help, please report all issues, comments, and concerns through a ticket to support.
Please read the entire article as there are very important steps that must be completed to successfully attach Zapier to Maidcentral that is unlink any prior integrations
MaidCentral is accessible as an added APP directly through zapier!
When Creating your first Zap using MaidCentral, Zapier will ask you to connect your Account.
DO NOT log in using your standard email and password -
If you use your Password and username from your account, the connection will break every time you change your password, and most importantly, the connection does NOT support any accounts with 2FA
As part of the beta invite, our support team has enabled a new API key and password that can be found within your Company > General > Integrations tab> API Key
To get your password for the API username, you will click the "Get new API Key." - You will then receive 2 popups
1) to notify you that generating a new API key will invalidate any old ones.
2) After accepting, you will receive your new API key or "Password" for the API username.
Enter the Username and password into the Zapier window as seen above, and your connection is all set! You're ready to build your Zaps!
PLEASE NOTE: Your API passwords will only be available once after the 1st generation of the key, any subsequent generations will create a new password disconnecting your prior connections!
Please ensure you set the ability to recall your API Key safely and securely
