Integrating your MaidCentral instance with Zapier can provide more flexibility by permitting a connection to other platforms that do not directly integrate with MaidCentral, such as Go High Level, DialPad, and RingCentral. This guide will cover the setup process and available triggers in this integration.
This Integration is in Open beta. If you experience troubles or need help, please report all issues, comments, and concerns through a ticket to support.
Integrating Zapier with Your MaidCentral Instance
Creating a new API User
In your MaidCentral instance, you will need to create a new API User in order to integrate with Zapier.
First, go to Company > Settings > General > Integrations > API Users. You can click Create a User and enter a name for the description to begin generating your API keys. If you do not see this section, you will need to reach out to our Support Team to have the API Users enabled for your instance.

Once you’ve saved the description, a pop-up will appear with your username and API key. This will be the username and password you will enter in Zapier to establish a connection. You will want to save your API keys in a safe and secure place, such as a password manager, in case you need to access this information again. If you do not, you will need to repeat the steps to create a new API User.

In your Zapier account, click +Create and select “MaidCentral” as the app. Once you select the app, you can pick which Trigger Event you want and which Account you want to connect to.

When you click on Select for the Account field, you will see a list of API Users that you can choose from if you already have MaidCentral connected. If you do not have MaidCentral connected or need to create a new connection, select Connect a New Account.
A new window will open asking for a username and password, like below. Do not log in using your standard email and password for your MC account.
Enter the username generated from the API User you created into the Username field. Take the API Key from the API User and enter it into the Password field, then click Yes, Continue to MaidCentral. Give it a few minutes, and the window will disappear if the connection was successful.

If you need to delete or generate a new API Key, you can click on the arrows next to the API User and select Delete or Get New API Key.
