How was a Lead Entered?

Why does it matter?

Understanding how a lead was generated can offer valuable insights into the effectiveness of your marketing efforts. With the increasing number of channels through which a lead can fill out a form or be entered into your system, specific labels have been created to clearly indicate the source of each lead.

These labels will appear on the Lead Details Page above the created date (see below).

One of nine labels below will be displayed:

  1. Api: API directly such as Zapier API

  2. ApiWithDetails: API with details such as scopeGroup, frequency, etc

  3. Online: Submitted from the external quoting system ie. quoting iframe

  4. Office: Office staff created the lead internally

  5. LeadForm: Posting with MC HTML lead form

  6. LeadFormPost: Posting directly without MC HTML form

  7. LeadFormPostWithDetails: Posting directly without MC form with details such as scopeGroup, frequency, etc

  8. Import: From a lead import

  9. Unknown: Lead was created before this feature was created
