How To Close a Lead?

There are several reasons you may want to close a lead. Perhaps the customer has asked to be removed from your contact list, or maybe you have reached out a number of times with no response.

To close a lead, go to More Actions > Close Lead (see below). You can leave a note for why you closed the lead and hit Save.

Once you add the note, you will see it with a Closed status in the Notes History Section.

What Happens When I Close a Lead?

When you close a lead, it remains visible in MaidCentral. Closed leads are still available through the Search Leads/Quotes. You simply need to make sure that the "Closed" box is checked when you run the quote search report.

Closed leads can still be pulled into the Lead Campaign for marketing, but the quote can no longer be booked, and a new quote will need to be created.
