Control and Transparency are Key!
This build focused on giving you more control and transparency. From taxes to payroll to payment reconciliation, we’ve added a few features to improve visibility and provide flexibility to meet your business needs! Additional updates were added to address bugs, increase stability, and help make things run smoother and faster.
New Features
Rounding options on Payroll
Have more control over your payroll with rounding configuration options! You can choose between Banker’s Rounding, Standard, and Always Round Up.
To change this setting, you can go to Company > Settings > General > Features > Payroll: Allowed Hours and Prorate Employee Pay > Settings (see below).
Customer Detail for Rate Modifications Usage Report
The Rate Modification Usage report has been improved! A new Customer Detail tab was added to easily find which rate modifications were made to which customers within a given time period. This helps analyze the impact of pricing adjustments on customers and revenue.
This report is under the Reports tab > All Reports > Rate Modification Usage.
Taxable Items in Invoicing & Rate Modifications
We’ve added clearer taxable status indicators across multiple areas. This will help identify if taxes will be applied appropriately prior to invoicing the job!
Invoicing & Jobs Records: Invoice items now display whether they are marked taxable in QuickBooks Online.
Rate Modifications: The list view now shows QBO taxable status, giving you better visibility when managing adjustments.
These settings are under Company > Other > Quoting and Scopes > Rate Modifications
Global Search Context for Reports
The Global Search window now includes a breadcrumb-like style when navigating to reports and dashboards, making it easier to understand where a page lives and improving navigation efficiency!
Payments Reconciliation with ACH Support
The QuickBooks Reconciliation is now Payments Reconciliation. In addition to credit card transactions, this report now supports ACH transactions processed through Paystri, offering a more complete reconciliation workflow!
Bug Fixes and Improvements
Automated Campaigns now validate input for wait times on actions to be greater than zero. This will help prevent accidental entries of negative numbers.
Online Booking form was updated to prevent auto-scrolling to the bottom of the page.
Bulk Rate Mods have been updated to show decimal places instead of rounding to the nearest whole number
Bump emails are now sent to the preferred email address
Options to send Payment Failure text and email now appear on the Invoice Page for Paystri.
Character limits now display when creating an employee under First Name and Last Name
iFrame color updates now apply correctly from the same Settings Page.
Companies without a configured main phone previously would experience crashes when a customer texted the service number. This update ensures all inbound text messages are processed successfully, regardless of the configuration.
Location pins were not pinning correctly on the Schedule Efficiency Map. This update improves the Google Maps integration to ensure locations are pinned correctly.
Previously, negative rate mods did not update when a job was completed with Hourly Billing. This has been fixed to update correctly after job completion.
Surcharge amounts now populate on custom PDF invoices for Paystri
Fixed the issue where taxes were applied to some tips for Canadian partners.
