MaidCentral Gives you the ability to change the way employees, on a specific team will get paid.
This setting is managed under your team's setting, found in the Company Tab > Teams
Once inside the Teams menu, clicking on the Blue Team name will allow you to adjust the individual team settings and change the "Start Time Type"
Soft Start :
Employees can clock in before their scheduled start time and are paid for the early clock-in.
Hard Start:
Employees can clock in before their scheduled start time but they are not paid and officially clocked in until their scheduled start time.
