Scheduling—To effectively manage employee attendance, it is crucial to understand the various attendance options and their corresponding meanings clearly. To assist you in this process, we have provided a comprehensive Key that elucidates the significance of each attendance option.
Employee attendance can be monitored from the Employee Attendance tab, which is conveniently accessed within the Employee Profile section. To navigate to the Employee Tab, please follow these steps: Go to the Employees Search function, select the desired employee, and proceed to click on their Attendance tab.
Within the Attendance tab, you will find the following status options:
This indicates the employee is available and scheduled to work according to their assigned shifts.
This status signifies that the employee has requested time off, which will be compensated and accounted for within their paid leave entitlement.
When employees select the Sick status, they request time off due to illness, which is paid according to company policies.
If an employee chooses the Time Off status, it means they are taking time off from work that is not compensated or paid.
This status is applicable when an employee fails to show up for their scheduled work but has uploaded an excuse.
In the event that an employee does not show up for work as scheduled and has either not provided any documentation to be excused or their provided documentation is insufficient, this status is assigned. The unexcused absence is considered a violation.
Additionally, the Attendance tab also provides information regarding the employee's clock-in and clock-out times for the current day. highlighted in grey
