# Difference Between Customer Portal Templates

## **Templates -** What is the difference between, Customer Portal Invite and Create Account Customer Invite Email Templates.

Your **Customer Portal Invite email** will be sent when you go to Company Tab > Campaigns > Create Account Customer Invite.

Once you Generate a list of customers to email, click the Generate Email button. You can then select the Template **Customer Invite.**

**Customer Invite - Portal Invite --**

This template displays on the Company Campaigns Create Customer Account Invite. **Account Creation -- Customer Account Creation --**

This template displays and is sent from the Customer Level of the Account, User Account Tab, when you cut and paste the email address and then click Create Account with this Email.

Your customer account create template is the email template that will be generated when you invite an individual customer to the portal from their User Account tab by pasting their email address in the available box and then clicking the blue Create Account with this Email option.

The MaidCentral Customer Portal is an easy access point for you to give your customers the ability to see and update the following information: View Jobs, Cost, Service Type, Frequency, Date of next pending job, and address. They can upgrade their next service to include any of your available Add On options (e.g., Add on an oven clean). View and pay open invoices with a credit card on file. Add new contact info, new notifications, new credit card and billing address.

Editable email, text, and phone messages that can be sent to leads, quotes, customers, and employees. Some of these are automated while others can be used for manual sends.
