If a technician or team of technicians is unable to gain access to a customers home, we offer a Lockout Scheduling Change feature. In a previous video we show you how you have the option to create a Lockout Fee if you want to have the ability to charge for Lockout jobs.
Even if you have the fee set up, before you mark the job as a Lockout, you can remove the fee and notate why you are not charging the customer the fee.
The Lockout Price is controlled at the Scope of Work level. To change or enable the Lockout fee per Scope do the following.
- Go to Company > Quoting and Scopes
- Choose Scopes of Work on the left
- Click into the desired Scope of Work and choose Rates and Fees on the left
- Change the lockout fee type and amount from that page
