Before, all labor hours were calculated based on the planned team size for that service set (Go to Company > Service Set Type >Planned Team Size).
Now, the hours listed with the base fee log will reflect labor hours vs. previous planned team sizes (Which for most companies was for a team of 2). Since a lot of companies have teams of 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. this allows for the hours needed for the job to automatically update according to how many people are on the team for the day.
To calculate the hours for those jobs by dividing the base fee by the bill rate for one labor hour. The system will then adjust the allowed hours depending on the # of team members automatically. This means we will only be changing the # of hours on the rate log, the system will do the rest and adjust the allowed hours and size of the bar on the job schedule.
EX. $483/$40 (hourly rate) = 12 hours -- You’ll update the base fee to 12 hours.
