How To Cancel Service in MaidCentral

Maid Central uses the word cancel to mean two different things. One is demonstrated in this video, how to cancel services. This action will cancel the selected job and all future jobs. Customers cancel for lots of different reasons (moving, financial reasons, pandemic, etc) In this how to video we show you how to Cancel Services, How to set a reminder via an open ticket, and where to find that future open ticket on your Main Dashboard.

Maid Central does not have an "inactive" button.  Customers will be inactive when they no longer have jobs scheduled for them. You can tag them as lost if you'd like, and write notes as to why they left.

To cancel a customer:  When a customer cancels service, you would go to make a schedule change to the job and select the Cancel Service button.  If they intend on coming back in 2 months, for instance, you can also go to the Actions Add Note button from the upper right-hand of their account and set a reminder.  We also demonstrate in this video where to go find that future open ticket you've created on your Main Dashboard.
