MaidCentral has availability calendar features that help you control what your internal quote (salesperson doing a quote) and external quote (online booking and sales) see as available to book.
You can create availability in terms of both labor hours that you have available. Or Revenue goals.
Revenue is the simpler of the two choices as you simply are saying we would like to sell $1000 on this day, when we hit that we cannot allow any more sales from the external tool, but your internal sales team could override this. Selling by revenue does mean that you will need to manage this number on an ongoing basis and look at your employee availability to make sure you don't oversell a day. In addition, there are times when revenue goals might be too high due to jobs that were sold at too low of an hourly rate, etc...
The more advanced tool is to sell by labor hours available. This is controlled by the skills logic for technicians and a scope group so that you can create a labor pool. Employees' time is applied to the jobs they are assigned, and this reduces the available hours to sell, and allowed hours to sell is reduced when employees have days off, etc... Also, note that the employee efficiency factor set at the scope level controls this as well. The higher the efficiency, the more hours you can sell. So if you want to reduce overall hours available, lowering this number would affect global availability.
