The Salary section in MC (see attachment) is there for the following example. EX. I'm the Operations Supervisor. I'm paid salary. I work in the office everyday. Today we're short cleaning technicians and I have to go clean a home for the company.
Since I'm salary, I'm not going to get paid extra for cleaning that home. Entering $1 in the Salary section from the Employee Search Employee Information tab Pay and Tax Info section will ensure that that salary employee doesn't get paid for a job they worked. The pay on the Invoice and Job Records report will display as $0.00.
PLEASE NOTE -- You will still pay your salary employees via the payroll system you use to pay them each week/every two weeks.
