Tags are a great way to add visuals, sort through reports, and set up specific tags for Customers, Employees, and Jobs
Setup -
To View, Manage and Create new tags navigate to the Company Tab > Partner > Tags.
PLEASE NOTE -- You must have a User Account role of Group Administrator in order to see this section.
Once Inside the "Tags" page, you can do multiple things to your existing tags or create new ones
To create a new Tag, at the top right of the report clicking
will take you to the create tag screen seen below
To edit a Pre-Existing Tag, clicking on the blue name of the tag will take you into the Edit Tag Screen
Maid Central offers you different categories that are used at different levels of a customer's account or employee account. These tags can then be found on numerous MaidCentral reports allowing you to sort by the tags you've created.
Tag Categories Key:
Employee Information -- Allows you to assign a tag to an employee. EX. Driver tag for an employee who is a designated driver.
Customer Information -- Allows you to assign a tag at the customer level of a customer account. EX. Flexible Customer. Tags having to deal with customers. This may be things like "Reviewing Client" (someone who heard of your service via a 3rd party review site like Angie's List or Yelp), C4R (Cleaning For A Reason), or "5 Star" (someone who maybe had a bad experience with another maid service and you want to tag them as a 5-star customer). Anything you can think of in terms of labeling (aka tagging) a customer.
Home Service Information -- Allows you to assign a tag to the customer's home. EX. Key
Service Set Information -- Allows you to assign a tag to a specific service set for a customer's home. EX. Supplies
Job Information -- Allows you to assign a tag to a specific job for a service set for a customer's home. EX. Priority!
PLEASE NOTE -- Attachment -- Global tag category for Customer and Inspection. (Will not continue to be used)
Customer Quote -- Global tag category for Leads Imported only. Gets assigned to leads that you provide to us to import via a spreadsheet to Maid Central.
Events --Allows you to assign a specific tag for events
Basically, it's up to your own imagination how you want to use the labeling/tagging system!
MaidCentral comes with many Default Tags Below are some of the descriptors for those default tags -
*** Please note - default tags can not be edited or deleted
Time Clock :
When this default tag is selected, it allows you to make your employees eligible to use the time clock. Use this for cleaning techs that are on the clock. Do not use it for executive roles such as office managers.
Vehicle :
Shows you which team members have a personal vehicle they can drive.
Driver :
Denotes cleaning techs that meet all the criteria to drive a company car.
