EX. I'm the Operations Supervisor. I'm paid salary. I work in the office everyday. Today we're short cleaning technicians and I have to go clean a home for the company. Since I'm salary, I'm not going to get paid extra for cleaning that home. Entering $1 in the Salary section from the Employee Search Employee Information tab Pay and Tax Info section will ensure that that salary employee doesn't get paid for a job they worked. The pay on the Invoice and Job Records report will display as $0.00. PLEASE NOTE -- You will still pay your salary employees via the payroll system you use to pay them each week/every two weeks. ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/0c1ef627-c6ff-4a23-afbe-729f8c45b2d2/Images/Documentation/employee-pay-page-why-is-there-a-salary-section-image-n7blasuo.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-04T04%3A55%3A00Z&se=2026-11-04T05%3A55%3A00Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=3T2g%2BAqyNfBmh%2B9%2B56RW6e8Hx%2F72GEbi9KoIhBSVAaY%3D)
